WALPOLE STORAGE · PLANNING
Scheduled access and retrieval
Walpole Storage is designed for longer-term storage with scheduled access and retrieval. It is not a 24/7 self-storage unit.
Identify the inventory you want to access
Start with the item names, carton references or groups recorded for your storage arrangement. A specific list makes the request more useful than asking for several things from one room. If you cannot identify the relevant carton, describe what you know and ask the team how the inventory can be reviewed before scheduling work.
Separate a request for one group from a final return of everything. Explain whether you want the belongings delivered to an address and whether other items will remain stored. Keep a copy of that request, then update your own inventory as groups return so you can still see what remains in storage.
Discuss timing before making a fixed commitment
Send your preferred date, any actual deadline and the reason that timing matters. A property access date, a contractor finishing date and an elevator reservation are separate constraints. The team reviews the requested work and schedule before confirming an appointment. Ask about the notice and arrangements that apply to your particular inventory.
Walpole Storage provides long-term crated storage with access arranged through the team. It is not a 24/7 self-storage unit. If you regularly need belongings at unpredictable times, explain that usage before collection so you can review whether the proposed storage arrangement fits your needs rather than discovering a mismatch later.
Prepare the destination and keep the record current
For a return delivery, confirm the full address, contact person, stairs, elevator and available loading position. Mention whether the address differs from collection. Have a room plan ready for the larger furniture and identify any assembly you want reviewed. The old collection notes may not describe the route into the new property.
Ask how retrieval, handling, delivery and any assembly appear in the estimate, especially for a partial return. Confirm the accepted list before the appointment and share changes promptly. The staged-return checklist provides a sequence for several deliveries; the inventory guide helps keep carton and furniture references usable.
Your next-step checklist
- Find the item or carton references for the request.
- Say whether this is a partial or final return.
- Share preferred timing and any separate building deadline.
- Describe destination access and where furniture should go.
- Confirm scope, appointment and charges with the team.
